A strong partnership between the European Investment Bank (EIB), the EU Delegation to Ukraine, UNDP, the Government of Ukraine, and local authorities has proven to be a vital force supporting Ukrainian communities as they face the challenges of war.
At the core of this cooperation are EIB programmes focused on for the reconstructing Ukraine, funding the restoration of critical social infrastructure, such as educational and healthcare facilities, social housing, heating, water supply, and sewage systems.
Almost 4 million people have already benefited from the reconstruction efforts, including more than 457,000 internally displaced persons.
This media project highlights the stories of people who, with the help of the European Union and their own resilience, are adapting to new realities and finding the strength to move forward.
